GKIDS has secured the distribution rights for the upcoming ALL YOU NEED IS KILL anime film from Studio 4°C. According to Deadline, the acquisition covers multiple territories, including North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
ALL YOU NEED IS KILL made its world premiere at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where screened as part of the Midnight Specials section on June 9, 12, and 13. The anime adaptation follows Rita Vrataski and Keiji Kiriya, two soldiers trapped in a time loop during a battle against an alien invasion.
The main voice cast includes Ai Mikami as Rita Vrataski and Natsuki Hanae as Keiji Kiriya. The additional cast members that have been announced include:
- Kana Hanazawa as Shasta
- Hiccorohee as Raychell
- Mo Chugakusei as Yonaval

The film, based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s 2004 sci-fi novel, is produced by Warner Bros. Japan and directed by Kenichiro Akimoto, with animation by Studio 4°C. The original novel previously inspired the 2014 American live-action adaptation Edge of Tomorrow, and the novel was previously also adapted into various other formats, including manga and graphic novels.
