SM Cinema has announced the movie lineup for the Philippines’ Studio Ghibli Fest 2025, a movie festival that celebrates the timeless magic of Studio Ghibli. The event invites Filipino fans to journey back into the imagination of Hayao Miyazaki and experience the endless wonder on the big screen, which will run exclusively in SM cinemas nationwide from September 10 to 16, 2025. The movie lineup includes Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, The Wind Rises, and Ponyo.

The announcement was first revealed in SM Cinema’s anime blockbuster season lineup, which also features Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback, and Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movies.
Studio Ghibli Fest is a year-long celebration of Studio Ghibli’s catalog returning to cinemas across the USA, presented by GKIDS and Fathom Entertainment. It makes its return for 2025 in celebration of the historic animation house’s 40th anniversary.
